Editing Dynamic Views

Instructions

To edit an existing Dynamic View for Companies, Contacts, Candidates or Jobs, please follow these steps:

  1. 'Right Click' on any Dynamic View and Select 'Customize View'
  2. A new window will open up and you will see two columns:  'Available Fields' & 'Selected Fields'
  3. Select fields from the 'Available' list on the left and use the ‘Add’ button to add them to your 'Selected Fields' on the right
  4. Use the ‘Up’ & ‘Down’ buttons on the right hand side to rearrange the order of the fields in your view
  5. Once you are satisfied with your view, click on ‘Save’ to save the Default view
  6. Close the View Editor window 
  7. Now 'Right Click' on any column header in the current view and then select 'Reset'.  This will refresh any columns you previously had hidden and now show the default view you created
Please Note:  When you change the default Dynamic View, it will not automatically update for all of your users.  Instead the software will retain any settings your users have already made.  If you would like, you can direct your team to follow Step 7 above (reset the view to default) to see the new default layouts you have created.  They will continue to be able to hide and re-arrange columns as needed within the limits of the default columns you have selected.  It is a good practice to be overly inclusive with the default columns you have selected and let individual users use the 'Hide' Function to customize views even further based on their individual preferences.
